The City of Prospect Heights and Illinois American Water Company initiated a one year long project to connect the City of Prospect Heights municipal water system to a new Lake Michigan water supply to serve the increased demand of city residents and businesses.

Norman J. Toberman & Associates provided the construction oversight for the Prospect Heights Water Supply Main. Our company was also responsible for the redesign of the water supply pipeline near a busy street intersection and railroad tracks, working with the water main contractor to provide a sensible solution to cross these major arterial routes.

Norman J. Toberman & Associates conducted regular inspections and prepared detailed reports tracking the completion of the water main. We also provided the City of Prospect Heights and Illinois American Water Company with a detailed set of record drawings to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of the pipeline well into the future. The Water Supply Main Project was completed on schedule and within budget in December 2010.
